Regular is boring. This is a resounding opinion among the tycoons of today, who aspire to constantly push the boundaries of their ventures further. Also, India’s 14-position-jump in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Ranking has made it a lucrative proposition for businesspersons around the country to go the extra mile in making their enterprises big, and even taking them global. But this has also made the competition so cut-throat, that it is no longer possible to achieve the stature of one’s dreams just through organic growth strategies. Mergers and acquisitions are here to stay!

Stratagem – The Strategy and Consulting Club of IIM Amritsar proudly presents “Expanding Horizons”, a novel case study competition that gauges one’s entrepreneurial acumen through a profound application of the key concepts of international business, strategic decision making, finance, and economics. Everything that points to the question – Are you smarter than the average CEO?

Participation Guidelines

o No registration fees required

o Participating teams must consist of 2-3 members.

o Members of the participating teams must be from the same college.

o Inter-year teams are allowed.

o Teams are required to register at dare2compete.com.

o A person can register as part of only one team for one event. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification of the entire team.

o All decisions shall rest with the Stratagem team

o Further details about the event would be communicated to all the participants through their registered email ids on the day of the event.

The event will include two rounds; first round being an elimination round.
