"AArunya is the first ray of light, a ray of hope which brings warmth and life along with it. The ray that transcends time. The ray that brings good spirit and strength from within. The ray which is sanctified in the holy city of Amritsar."
Punjab enjoys the natural benefits and fertile soil that gives good cultivation. Punjab is the oldest cultivation on the earth and with its distinguished language, culture, food, attire, script, folklore, people, etc., it is one of the best places to live in.
Farming is a root in many elements of the culture. During Baisakhi and Lohri, they practice the custom to commemorate their occupational capacities through festivals. The entire state rejoices and celebrates the sweet fruits of the labour they have put in all through the year. The delightful "Makke Di Roti and Sarson Da Saag" is the characteristic dish of Punjab and every Punjabi takes pride in it because it exudes the fragrance of the fertile soil of Punjab. Mitti Di Khushboo or Petrichor- the pleasant, earthy smell after rain is reminiscent of the farming practices of Punjab and how the farmers take pride in their hard work and dedication.
In Aarunya 3.0, IIM Amritsar aims at creating the magic that will get everyone nostalgic about the fragrance of the soil and indulge in reliving the beautiful memories of past while experiencing the rich tradition of Punjab!
