World over it is known that stock markets go through waves of trials and tribulations, causing jitters and panic even amongst the most seasoned investors and asset managers. But at the same time, it presents timeless opportunities to generate enormous wealth if navigated through on the basis of sound knowledge-based insightful research. The whole system of stock markets is based upon the idea of equity valuation; hence it is the backbone of the modern financial system. It enables companies with sound business models to command a premium in the market. On the other hand, it ensures that companies whose fundamentals are weak witness a drop in their valuation. The art and science of equity valuation will enable the modern economic system to efficiently allocate scarce capital resources amongst various market participants.

FEC (The Finance & Economics Club) of MM Amritsar brings to you all "InSight-Out" - an Equity Valuation competition as a part of AArunya 4.0 - The Management, Cultural, & Sports Fest of MM Amritsar wherein the thoughtful minds all over the country would be tested on their in-depth knowledge, analytical skills, and systematic thinking relating to the business world.

Participation Guidelines

o No registration fees required

o A team must consist of 2-3 members.

o Participants are required to register at dare2compete.com

o Only the participants who clear the first round can participate in the subsequent rounds.

o The decision of the judges shall be final in all matters.

o The organizers can tweak the rules of the event as per the situation.

o Further details about the event would be communicated to all the participants through their registered email ids.

The event will include two rounds; first round being an elimination round.
