Pit Trading

Open outcry is a method of verbal and hand signal communication used by traders at stock and Future Exchanges Signals and shouts convey trading information, intentions, and acceptance in the trading pits. Open outcry is similar to an auction where all participants have a chance to compete for orders. It leads to transparency, efficient markets, and fair price discovery. Because trading can occur between any two participants at any given time, it differs from over the counter trading where trading is negotiated between two parties privately

FEC (The Finance & Economics Club) of MM Amritsar brings to you all Pit Trading competition as a part of AArunya 4.0 - The Management & Cultural Fest of MM Amritsar wherein the thoughtful minds all over the country would be tested on their in-depth knowledge, analytical skills, and systematic thinking relating to the business world.

Participation Guidelines

o No registration fees required

o A team must consist of 2-3 members.

o Participants are required to register at dare2compete.com

o Only the participants who clear the first round can participate in the subsequent rounds.

o The decision of the judges shall be final in all matters.

o The organizers can tweak the rules of the event as per the situation.

o Further details about the event would be communicated to all the participants through their registered email ids.

The event will include two rounds; first round being an elimination round.
